Love Disney World? Then you need this one tip to save hundreds on your next Disney vacation!
I have to share this secret with all of you….
Have you ever heard that in order to earn money you have to invest money? Let’s spin that and call it spend money to save money on your Disney vacation. Seriously.
There are a TON of Disney World and Disneyland guide books out there but there is only one Official Guide book and that’s “Birnbaum’s Guide to Walt Disney World.” The price fluctuates on Amazon and when you get it from Barnes and Nobles make sure to use a coupon and take advantage of any other specials. The 2017 edition is currently $12.18 on Amazon.
But I’m not here to tell you about the book and how it can help you plan your vacation, because of course it can, but let’s talk about how you can take a $12 book and save hundreds of dollars with it.
The savings comes in with the coupons at the back of the book. There are at least 21 coupons for different restaurants, activities, and services in and near WDW. I decided to purchase the book to see how much I could save and report back to my readers, I couldn’t believe the savings I was able to secure. And I still had leftover coupons that I was able to giveaway.
Personal example of saving big at Disney
There are a few coupons for 10-15% off restaurants on Disney property. If it takes $50-$200 to feed a family of 4 you can save $5-$20 per meal. 7 day vacation? That’s up to $210.
Have you seen this hot air balloon at Disney Springs?
My grandma wanted to so badly ride it but I really couldn’t swallow paying almost $80 for the four of us. But guess what?! With the coupon in the book we paid exactly $40.
A Disney vacation is not the easiest vacation to plan and it’s certainly not the least expensive but I promise there are many ways to save and with the right guidance you will do just that. While this book costs $12, you can easily make that back and save even more. Plus you get The Official Guide of Walt Disney World with a ton of information. There’s no going wrong here.
I have a challenge for you. Head to your nearest Barnes and Nobles, find the book and head to the back to look at the coupons. Pick one coupon out and find the cost of that service with the coupon and without to figure out what you could save. Have time? Do that a few times and add up the savings.
